Resources

On this page you’ll find a series of handy resources which we hope will help you with your search for your dream home.

If you’ve recently connected with a buyer or homeowner, you’ll also find some suggested text for some initial emails introducing yourselves.

Homebuyer Resources

Royal Mail Logo

Royal Mail’s free postcode finder is the very best way to find the full postal address of a property when you only know partial details.

Simply input the details you do know (like house number and street) and it will do the rest for you.

HM Land Registry lets you search for property ownership details, title deeds and historical house prices.

Note you do not need to know who owns a property to use our services.

Rightmove Logo

Rightmove are absolute titans of the UK property market. Most estate agents list their properties here.

However, they also have an excellent collection of resources for the homebuyer.

Zoopla Logo

Zoopla is essentially an aggregator of traditional estate agents, not unlike Rightmove.

However, they too also offer an excellent source of historical house prices using data from HM Land Registry.

Sample Buyer / Seller Email Templates

If you’ve recently been connected with a buyer or homeowner using our service, you will have both received an introductory email with the other party’s name and email address on it. The next steps are for you to reach out to one another to start discussions about a potential sale. This could be to set early expectations about price, or to arrange a viewing.

We’ve included below a couple of suggested email templates to get the ball rolling: one from the homeowner to the buyer and the other from the buyer to the homeowner.

Of course you’re free to use your own wording if you wish. The most important thing is you make contact. Don’t assume the other party will do it (if you both wait for the other person to get in touch, nothing will happen). You’re both interested in talking to one another or your wouldn’t be on our site. You’ve nothing to lose in reaching out and everything to gain.
